IGN Live Presents: Bioshock Infinite and the Evolution of AI

With BioShock Infinite only days away, we're teaming up with Irrational Games at PAX East to discuss what went into bringing the complex AI character Elizabeth to life, and we're bringing it to you live right here.

We'll be including questions from you as well!

Here's all the details:

From Shodan to Big Daddies to Elizabeth: The Evolution of an AI Companion with Irrational Games and IGN

  • When: March 23, 9am PT/12:00pm ET
  • Where: Right here on this page, on YouTube, on IGN's Xbox LIVE app and on Roku.
  • What: IGN's Casey Lynch will sit down with Irrational’s Ken Levine (creative director), Drew Holmes (writer), John Abercrombie (lead programmer), Amanda Jeffrey (designer), and Heather Gordon (motion capture actress) and Courtnee Draper, Voice Actress, (Elizabeth's Voice) to discuss Irrational’s past AI characters and how the team used what they learned from System Shock 2 and the original BioShock to create Elizabeth. Panel attendees can expect unique insights into Irrational’s creative process and discover how Irrational Games is able to create a truly life-like AI.

We're in Boston covering PAX East, check out all of the big news and best games, and read IGN's full PAX East 2013 schedule right here.
