Fan driven efforts to keep beloved shows on the air have been known to be effective. The cast and creators of Fringe, for example, credit the die-hard fanbase with keeping the show alive for five years.
The ABC comedy Happy Endings has been on the bubble (in danger of being cancelled) for some time now. The remaining episodes will air back-to-back at 8-9 PM Fridays starting March 29. In a last-ditch effort, the network itself has launched a campaign inviting fans to tune in on its new night and save the show.
