Resident Evil actress Milla Jovovich and director Paul WS Anderson are set to return for the sixth instalment of the the most successful video game movie franchise ever, currently codenamed Resident Evil 6.
First Showing reports that Jovovich will return as Alice in the final film in the second trilogy Anderson began with Resident Evil: Afterlife. Anderson, who's been attached to every Resident Evil movie to date, will direct.
The film, currently without its usual marketing-friendly subtitle, is scheduled to begin filming in the US Autumn for a September 12 release. For those of you familiar with the ending of last year's Resident Evil: Retribution 3D, the news will come as a no-brainer.
