PlayStation 3 Exclusive Rain Looks Dark and Dreary (But Pretty, Too)

Rain, a new game under development at Sony’s Studio Japan, was revealed at Gamescom last year. And ever since, then we’ve heard pretty much nothing about it. All we had to work with was the game’s announcement trailer, seen below.

We still don’t quite know what the game’s about, except for the fact that it seems dark and dire. But six new screenshots were revealed by Sony Japan that show off what appears to be central to the game: using falling raindrops to see people and objects that are otherwise invisible.

We’ll have lots more on Rain in the coming weeks. But in the meantime, based only on the video and images we have, what do you think Rain’s all about?
