Street Fighter X Tekken came out to warm reviews last year, but what about its companion title: Tekken X Street Fighter?
It's been a while since we heard anything on the franchise-splicing fighter. But with next-generation consoles on the horizon, it seems like that has been a factor in its production.
Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada told a fan on Twitter:
I said "under development" few days ago. We are changing & considering platform strategy. That's why we don't say anything.Thx RT@koalliance

Does that mean the title is now in development for PS4 and the next Xbox, as well as current-gen consoles?
Either way, it seems like Harada has changed his position on next-gen sometime in the last eight months. Back in July 2012, he said, "There's still a large number of players out there with a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 who are looking forward to the game, so we feel it's probably more relevant to get the title out to them on the current hardware. We're not completely sure, but that's the direction at this moment."
Until we found out more on the game, we'll just have to content ourselves with the excellent Street Fighter X Tekken. Here's the video review:
