Daily Fix Headlines for April 3, 2013

We've got a lot of big news to cover today, so get your swivel chairs steady and your eyes a ready. One of the biggest shocks to hit the Google box (What? I'm in a rhyming mood today) was the announcement that Star Wars 1313 will be no more and LucasArts won’t be making any new games. Also in today's headlines, Apple decides to brings us yet another new iPhone and can someone say, "Holy awesome sauce Marvel Phase Two looks freaking amazing?" Because it does. All that plus more in today's Fix.

Here are the stories covered in today’s Daily Fix:

LucasArts has confirmed layoffs as it shifts to licensed games instead of internal development.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is reportedly gearing up to begin production on the iPhone 5S with an eye on a potential summer launch for the device.

The next major update to Minecraft on Xbox 360 arrives this week, says developer 4J.

Some much-needed changes are coming to Diablo III's co-op. Senior game designer Wyatt Cheng admits right now the feature "can often feel not worth the effort." But a new patch will supposedly change all that, adding matchmaking tags for public games, multiplayer bonuses, lower monster HP, and private chat. For the full Diablo 3 wiki, click the link above.
