Game Debuts

Injustice: Gods Among Us – (Freemium)

DC Comics superheroes and villains clash in this new mature-themed fighter, and the graphics the developers have managed to achieve here on iOS are striking. Take a look:

Badland – ($3.99)

Breathtaking visuals aren't only to be found in Injustice today, though, as Badlands' look is also incredible:

The Other Brothers – ($0.99)

Mario and Luigi have been in the spotlight for decades – it's about time for The Other Brothers to take a turn running, jumping and stomping on baddies from above.

Slayin – ($0.99)

FDG brings us "the world's first endless action RPG," and this one's also paying homage to old-school Nintendo with its NES-like overlaid control panel.

Dream Chaser – ($0.99)

Chillingo's latest is a 3D runner with a theme of dreams and an emphasis on character customization.

The Secret Castle – (Free)

The App Store's first hidden object game to move beyond flat scenes and embrace 3D, The Secret Castle looks like just the game to sit down and enjoy alongside your iPad-loving kid. Try it for free, then invest $2.99 for the full unlock if you like what you see.

Tekken Card Tournament – (Freemium)

Namco's classic fighting franchise gets remixed with card-battling mechanics. Try it for free and see what you think.

Eyes: The Horror Game – ($0.99)

Fans of fright can buy themselves a new set of scares here.

Freebies!

Sentinel 3: Homeworld – (Free)

Some free tower defense action for you fans of the genre out there, and we know there are plenty of you.

Mini Ninjas – (Free)

Square Enix's stable of small assassins can also be recruited for no cost right now.

That’s it for today! Email subscriptions to the App Store Update are still just one sign-up away, right here:
